A New Year Commitment
This year I made a commitment to how I was going to show up. I wanted to have a written committed statement of being. I have made resolutions in the past, set yearly goals, treasured mapped, set intention but this year I wanted to make a larger commitment to fully express my essence.
One of the issues that I was confronting is a huge upside potential. How do you live when you can see that your own possibilities are infinitely great? How do you not live as a constant underachiever when you can see how much God has place within you?
My idea, make a bigger commitment. We are only as great as the commitment we make. Make small commitment and live a small life. Make great commitment and live in greatness.
I thought of Charles and Myrtle Fillmore Dedication and Covenant:
We, Charles Fillmore and Myrtle Fillmore, husband and wife, hereby dedicate ourselves, our time, our money, all we have and all we expect to have, to the Spirit of Truth, and through it, to the Society of Silent Unity.
It being understood and agreed that the said Spirit of Truth shall render unto us an equivalent for this dedication, in peace of mind, health of body, wisdom, understanding, love, life and an abundant supply of all things necessary to meet every want without our making any of these things the object of our existence.
In the presence of the Conscious Mind of Christ Jesus, this 7th day of December A.D. 1892.

Here is mine:
This year I commit to stoking the flames of my desires. I will not settle for a life that is smaller than the longings of my soul. I trust the vastness within me. 2016 is my year to wholly and completely say yes!
Ready for your homework? Write your own. Write your commitment to yourself, to your soul, to your life, to your God. See if you can not only write it down but live it.
Happy New Year!
